The sea looks flat calm but I note the inshore waters forecast says "slight close to shore - moderate or rough otherwise"

You made the right decision I reckon.

What a lovely day to have been anchored in Cawsand . what happened to the forecast..........yet again

In fact we went to cawsand but the wind was 15 knots from the east. It was horrid. So we're in barn pool atm. Fire going. Wind stopped now. Its lovely.

Sorry we didnt manage to find a suitable rendezvous time Terry. Will likely not be until next spring now:(

Cheers rob. Engine now starting well. Running well. But has it started hunting a little at idle when warm.

No worries. Wind ideal for sailing back to Dartmouth tomorrow.

Not really ready to 'go home' quite yet. Had an excellent time here in Plymouth.

Oh no! Don't rub it in. It's been raining small animals here all afternoon. Wrong decision again. Jeff, if you are in Barn Pool, you are just round the corner from our boat - we are on the moorings just past Mashfords boatyard. Safe journey back tomorrow! I am gutted the weather was good!
