Elanymor complete and in Greece!
Blue Water Yachting reports that a major refit of the 59m Elanymor is now complete. Renamed Akula (Russian for 'shark'), she was originally built in 1974 as a North Sea pilot vessel and was sold in 1999 when she underwent a major conversion by Amels to an expedition yacht. Sold to her new owner by Blue Water in 2008, she has since been at the La Ciotat Shipyard in France, where her multi-million dollar transformation from expedition vessel to luxury yacht has given her a new lease of life. Latest reports are that she is in the warmer winter climates of Greece, having completed her time in the shipyard in La Ciotat.
Nice looking boat (can she still be called a boat at that size ) but still well out of my price range
