We're watching from Barn Pool. Jennycliffe is usually the best spot, and the atmosphere there with all the other boats is fabulous, but a) the wind is forecast strong from the West and b) we're not sure how Nina will take to them as they're jawdroppingly loud and c) there's no shop or pub or source of fresh water.
If Drake's island had a pub and a source of fresh water I think I'd be pushing for us to go there instead as it's an easy anchorage and that bit closer to the action.
Note the wind is strong from the west so the smoke will head west rapidly so viewing from PYH won't go too well maybe.
