Beneteau first 260 spirit/25.7 or Jeanneau sunfast 25

Hi
Im looking at buying either a Beneteau first 260 spirit/25.7 or Jeanneau sunfast 25 for sailing out of Holyhead or Menai straits. Problem is I will be mostly singlehanded sailing. Has anyone experience of singlehanded sailing any of these and in these waters? Loads of experience in my 20's and sail in Greece most years but not sailed here for a while.
(RYA Practical Day skipper being undertaken) Other craft considered budget circa £20k like the Benny and Jenny styling- not really into Westerleys etc
