Posted: Wed Mar 12, 2014 3:03 pm
Currently lying ashore near Plymouth
Last Survey 2012, report available.
Soft chine, lovely lines.
I am selling my 32' sloop, 'Meli Melo' as she is more boat than I currently require,
Draft: 5'6'
Beam: 9'6'
LOA: 32'
Hull: Long keel
Accommodation: 4 berths in 2 cabins, double V berth in forward cabin, 2 singles in saloon, Separate heads compartment, General finish is very good.
Engine: BUKH DV20, control panel needs rewiring but operational.
Navigation: Navman Chart Plotter, Speed log and echo, VHF radio, good size chart table, in date coastal flare pack included in sale.
Steering: Tiller steering, wind vane steering system included in sale (not fitted)
Sails: Fully Battened main (fair condition), Genoa (poor condition), storm tri-sale (fair condition), storm jib (fair condition).
Deck: 2x winches, manual windlass, 2x anchors, spinnaker boom
General: She is a well fitted out vessel, and with a little updating would make an excellent long range cruiser. Her heavy steel construction gives her great sea keeping characteristics, however can be cumbersome in a tight marina.
I bought her as a live aboard however a change of career has come with a move ashore so I can no longer justify owning a boat of her size.[/img]
