Is it actually coming? No one seems to agree if it is going to arrive with any significance. Couple of low pressure systems lining themselves up out there at the moment so who knows? Supposed to have been on the boat for all next week..................................may give it a miss!

Full picture is a bit better in the flesh. I said as a joke to Karen it could be you! At least you have made it into national print. Looking good! Probably earlier this season. Will sort out a better pic (camera on I pad is a bit weedy).

BTW, is that you in this months Yachting Monthly? They are doing a second hand boat review of a Bowman 40 based out of Dartmouth. Wide shot of the Dartmouth vista with a Nautical anchored in the foreground. Coincidence? Blue sail covers, davits with a a solar panel on them. Fame at last?

Please let me know what antifoul you used - you are losing at least 2 knots boat speed dragging the octopus' garden around with you! Little creatures are some kind of lo...

Alas, weekend warriors again! Maybe a week next month some time but no real plans as yet - perhaps Mevagissey? Just had a Spitfire doing some practice acrobatics over the boat - but don't recall any kind of air show this weekend. Just starting the first few spits of rain - but we are tucked u...

Now on boat. Very strange weather. Couple of people said the storm last night was spectacular - a lightening firework show. Seems like it may have passed you by. Awaiting the evening rain - too humid for it not to happen.

Link v useful. I don't think it will fit though - shame! Piplers a bit too far away for me (3 hours) but I might see if I can borrow one for a trial fit when we get lifted from another boat in the yard. Someone must have one! Hope you are tucked up away from the winds somewhere nice! 8)

And another shot from underneath. Assuming you are looking at a 20kg Delta tucked up under there, how much room does the roll bar take up? <a href="http://s1370.photobucket.com/user/robmcg5/media/imagejpg2_zps9cf64771.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1370.photobuc...

OK, here we go. This should be the bowsprit photo, or an epic IT fail resulting in considerable public humiliation! <a href="http://s1370.photobucket.com/user/robmcg5/media/imagejpg1_zps99d6c2b6.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/ag280/ro...

I think we have seen more of the opposite, is moorings fail with boats heading off out to sea on their own. There was one season a few years ago where it happened a lot by us. Wake up in the morning to see some boat looking like its badly anchored but is in fact caught up in someone else's mooring. ...

You should try one of those large sailing dinghies with the camping kit. You can tow them behind the car, explore the local area, pull it up the beach to sleep in then relaunch the next morning and explore some more. You are very right about the good nights sleep bit. I tend to sleep well in poor we...
