I recognise that boat! I have followed it through the bridge at least a couple of times and I've seen it going up and down the Tamar. Nice little blog. :D

Terry - any withdrawal symptoms yet from YBW :shaking2: ?

Just get Jeff to ban you from this forum. It could be the icing on the turd!

Mind you, they do say today is black Monday - the most depressing day of the year :o

I suspect the YBW forum Stazi were just having a slow day.

There are some sensitive souls over there :?

I tried Drag Queen (great name!) but it lacked something I found essential and which I can't recall which was a feature of My Anchor Watch pro. Probably means it didn't work :( I'm sure a man of your caliber could knock up a still in an afternoon from some household items and a length of old pipe! ...

Day Skipper theory is an enjoyable course and not too taxing. As already said, it mainly covers estimate position, course to steer, 3 point fixes, parts of the boat, tidal curves, lights and day shapes, rules of the road, buoyage and a bit of light passage planning. Once you have done a bit of saili...

Terry - I have Drag Queen loaded on my Hudl as an anchor watch app. Looks simple enough to use but must admit haven't used it in anger yet. Hope you don't wake up after the JD and find the dog has tried to chew your leg off after graduating from a VHF aerial! :? Jeff - Spade looks like the best fit ...

I see your penchant for strange foods is alive and well and flourishing in your new surrounds. Fermenting sounds like an equally bizarre pastime. The only experience of fermenting I have had recently is a foul smelling concoction in our bilge - water, oil, diesel and the out wash from the heads sink...
