visitor rates for a 10mtr boat is now up to £25 pn with no anchoring :o Dont think we will be visiting there this year !, Hmmm, wasn't this type of pricing tried in Salcombe a few years back. They still haven't recovered the visitor numbers they had before the price hike. It's a shame, we love Fowe...

Hi Rob I'm here and champing on the bit !! We were hoping to go to sea for a trip this week but what's the point in the cold foggy drizzly weather. I leave that for our heros on this forum . BTW he's very quiet lately !! :lol: Come on Jeff get Towser in the water and get posting :salut:

:o I wouldn't give up the day job. Which boatyard are you in that forbids the use of tarpaulins ? The simple and cheaper option would be to move to another yard . In 50years of boating I have never heard of a
Yard taking such action.

Life has been a bit of a bu88er lately

Took our westie to the vet ..appearing to be under the weather for a couple of days and was quickly diagnosed as suffering from acute liver failure !! Had to have the poor ol chap put to sleep there and then . if that wasn't heart wrenching enough the following night our Jack Russell had a nose blee...

Happy New Year Terry. Anywhere nice on your 10 days at sea? Nah just local yealm fowey and a nite on the Saltash pontoon ,which was free of youths and has to be said quite enjoyable . terry Bet it was nice and quiet mind. Yep I'm here !! Still living onboard all nice and warm and no snow . Went to sea for 10days came back to marina on Sunday Nice to be back on shore supply again tho. We intended to stay in Mayflower marina on Saturday night but it was so lumpy our 15year old grandson felt seasick on the pontoon !!! :o
