Re: Hello anybody there ??

Hey Terry - We are still here too! We are now based up in Scotland for the sailing season, enjoying endless rain, wind and stormy sea! Hope you are well and are still enjoying the delights of Devon and Cornwall!

No sleuthing skills unfortunately, just a monumental time waster I'm afraid!! Again, bit late with a reply here as believe it or not, in 2016 we have hardly any access to the net 😞. Broadband was cancelled at home as we weren't around last year and we live in a rural area so no 3g at home either....

Yep, that's the one. I think it could be her based on the fact that she is the classic layout which is rarer, Beta engine, re epoxied in 2015 and new electric windlass which the last guy who bought her said he had done to her on the Westerly forum. Also, she is in the west of Ireland, cant be many T...

Looks like Isabella is for sale again over in Ireland! I think its her listed on the Westerly Owners Association web site in the craft for sale section. Jeff - you may have to go and reacquire her 😃!

Will check it out - although the black pudding would be lost on us - vegetarians!!! Glad to hear you will be back afloat. Take solace in the fact that you might not win any race silverware but could get first prize for number of mackerel landed or first person to get the barbeque going 😊. Next th...

Er, bit of a slow reply - a month or so without internet to blame (long story). Will try to locate a back issue of YM, I really have to read that article!!!! As for us, this year we will pick up where we left off and cruise the west coast of Scotland fully, something we have wanted to do for 10 year...

Hey Jeff, good to hear you are well. Yes, we kept the blog running although I must admit a lot of the posts were done a bit after they actually happened. I blame the availability of the internet en route although it's probably down to me being lazy. Didn't realise how much time it took to write all ...

2016 already?

Can't believe its already 2016, where did 15 go? Anyone with any plans for 2016 - places to go, jobs to do? Just getting used to the idea of fitting out for this year and grappling with the expense - new cooker already blown a hole in the budget! Is anyone still around or up to much?

Yep, still at the Quay, for my sins. Bit expensive now, will be glad to get afloat. No shower here so can only manage 3 days at a time before needing to go home for a soak!

Launch on the 18th, heading west from that date. Bit like you, going to go when and where the wind takes us. No real urgency to get to Scotland in double quick time so I think we will follow the weather. Still loads to do before launch though :( Will keep an eye out for you! Give us a wave if you se...

Well, you are certainly right not to miss all the fitting out and prepare work but with this weather, it hardly seems a chore to be working on the boat. We have seen other yachts getting launched and the yard thinning out and there is now a certain level of excitement building. We have threatened fo...

Blimey! I'm finally back! Busy working on the boat - lots done and still lots to do. We launch in about 4 weeks time - late I know but we are hoping to head off to Ireland and on up to Scotland as we have the whole summer off!!!!!!!!

Anyone been up to much? :?:
