Hello,
I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with purchasing nautical supplies online? I found a website www.nauticalselect.com which seems to have some great deals. I am looking for a new sextant and I am doing it on a budget this time. The item I am looking at is pasted below.
Can anyone tell me at the price that nauticalselect.com has plus the discount they are giving, is it a good buy. I am open to all suggestions as to other sites to purcahse from. I have not purchased many things online so please help out if you can. Thanks for everyone's time

Afraid that looks more like a model shop than anything else, might be worth having a word with SaltyJohn
http://www.saltyjohn.co.uk/
He sells a lot of stuff on the oppositions web site but if he can help, he will
Northern type so a bit gruff Laughing

I actually purchased the Sextant that I noted in the link above. The site www.nauticalselect.com has a liverperson aid on the site and I mentioned to them that I was doing a bit of research on nautical gift, decor and nautical sailing devises and that there price was a bit high. It turns out that "all" of their prices are set to the MSRP price. The lady then asked me well since you came this far all ready why don't I just give you a discount. She knocked 200.00 off the price of the Sextant and then said thanks for stopping in at nautical select gifts and decor. She gave me a discount code if anyone is interested in it. But I recommend the high dollar nautical gifts cause those are the ones that are marked up the highest. I am not in sales, that is just what this woman told me. So far I have only purchased two things but both times the prices where cheaper. Word to the wise, if your on a nautical shopping site or any other online shopping site. Just ask them for a discount and they will give you one.

items purchased online, to date:

Coupon Code "Nautical Select Gifts and Decor" good for 15% off any order.
